Outbreak response gets a powerful new tool

With the arrival of the first ebola vaccine, ERVEBO, a new paradigm of emergency response became possible: ring vaccination.

 

As a key partner in the fight against the virus, Merck needed to energize and inform the community. Launching the brand was the starting point for that effort.

Confronting ebola outbreaks requires global commitment

Beyond the branded assets, we needed a communication platform to galvanize efforts among multiple global health organizations spanning Pharma, NGOs and government agencies.

 

In a series of workshops and rounds of creative iteration, we helped the client leadership team develop the right tone for the campaign, exploring a wide range of approaches.

The Versus Ebola campaign served as a platform for educating and motivating a wide range of audiences. Presentation, video and print assets helped Merck build momentum in the fight against future outbreaks.

Ebola outbreaks have become fewer in recent years, yet the threat of a severe outbreak remains ever-present. With the vaccine at the ready, we're now equipped to respond quickly and save lives. It was an honor to be a part of of this initiative.
